DNA/COMPETENCIES

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies and DNA traits of a KidStrong Center Leader:

Passionate:

Passionate DNA is best described as someone who cares for others and is engaging, fun, and likable. As a leader, being passionate about the mission is the baseline. Beyond that, you want to show genuine care for others through your words and especially your actions. When we are engaging, fun, and likable it encourages everyone around us to act in a similar manner which reinforces the central theme of KidStrong being a place where everyone can have fun and be engaged.

Leader:
A Leader is someone who creates culture, takes initiative, and is a COACH, not a cheerleader. A leader cannot expect anyone to do something they are not also willing to do themselves. Leaders are always being observed for how they act, how they talk, how they dress, and how they respond to certain situations.

Community Builder:
A Community Builder is someone who brings people together and has a team-first mindset. KidStrong can be much more than a place where parents bring their kids for 45 minutes a week. When teams make concentrated efforts to bring people together and build community, KidStrong transforms into something so much more.

Emotionally Balanced:
Being an Emotionally Balanced leader means being an anchor for your team and upholding the team's core values no matter the circumstances. How we respond to situations, good or bad, sets the precedent for how our team will respond. If we allow ourselves to get easily frustrated, or worse - let it show - our team will respond in kind.

Results Driven:
Being Results Driven means being schedule-driven, goal-oriented/adaptable, and executing goals. At the end of the day, you are running a business. You want to create an impact and be a force for good in your community.

Strong Communicator:
To be a Strong Communicator you must be confident, consistently optimistic, and be an active listener. People follow others who are confident in themselves and the direction they are taking them.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE:
